FAQs

Can I get teeth on the same day as implant placement (immediate loading)?

Yes, in many cases. With good primary stability (implant insertion torque), we can place a temporary fixed hybrid denture on the same day. This gives you immediate function, aesthetics, and comfort while the implants integrate.

You’ll treat it much like natural teeth: brush twice daily, floss using specialized floss or threaders around abutments, use interdental brushes, and attend professional cleanings. Hygienists will use special instruments designed for implant surfaces. There will also be access for flossing and cleaning under the fixed prosthesis as designed.

Although rare, it can happen. Because six implants provide redundancy, if one fails, we can often maintain function with the others while managing the failed one (removal, healing, and reimplantation). We also monitor bone levels closely to detect early signs of trouble.

As a patient, you won’t remove it daily—only our clinicians may detach or remove it for adjustments or repairs. It behaves like natural teeth—fixed in your mouth but maintainable with correct hygiene.

With proper care, the prosthetic and implants can last many years—often over 10–15 years or more. The implant fixtures may outlast the prosthetic teeth (which may require repair or replacement over time). Regular monitoring, maintenance, and timely repairs help maximize lifespan.
